ThreoAI Marketplace
Explore the ThreoAI Marketplace - browse AI Agents and Custom GPTs made available by your organization, pin agents to your sidebar, and start conversations directly from the marketplace.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Marketplace is your central hub for discovering and launching AI Agents and Custom GPTs that have been made available by your organization’s administrators. Think of it as an internal app store for AI assistants - you can browse what is available, read descriptions to understand what each agent or GPT does, pin your favorites to the sidebar for quick access, and start conversations directly from the Marketplace page.
AI Agents are pre-built assistants deployed by your administrator from the Synthreo catalog. Custom GPTs are specialized assistants created by users in your organization and shared through administrator-configured access rules. Both types appear in the Marketplace and work the same way once you open a conversation with them.
Accessing the Marketplace
Section titled “Accessing the Marketplace”There are two ways to open the Marketplace:
- From the sidebar: In the left sidebar, click Explore Marketplace at the top of the sidebar (under the Marketplace section header). This opens the full Marketplace page.
- Direct URL: Navigate directly to https://threo.synthreo.ai/#/marketplace in your browser.
Note: There is also a separate Explore Agents link in the sidebar that opens a dedicated AI Agents directory page (
#/explore-agents). This is a different view from the Marketplace - it shows only AI Agents (not Custom GPTs) with individual Use Agent buttons and a search bar for quickly finding and launching a specific agent. If you are looking specifically for an AI Agent and already know its name, the Explore Agents page may be faster than browsing the full Marketplace.
Marketplace Layout
Section titled “Marketplace Layout”The Marketplace page is organized into a search bar at the top, filter tabs below it, and then card-based sections for AI Agents and Custom GPTs.
Search
Section titled “Search”A Search in marketplace… bar at the top of the page lets you filter agents and GPTs by name or keyword. As you type, the Marketplace dynamically filters the displayed cards to show only those matching your search term. This is especially useful when your organization has many agents or GPTs available and you need to find a specific one quickly.
Filter Tabs
Section titled “Filter Tabs”Three tabs below the search bar let you control what types of items are displayed:
- All - Shows both AI Agents and Custom GPTs sections together. This is the default view when you first open the Marketplace.
- AI Agents - Filters the page to show only the AI Agents section, hiding Custom GPTs.
- Custom GPTs - Filters the page to show only the Custom GPTs section, hiding AI Agents.
AI Agents Section
Section titled “AI Agents Section”The AI Agents section displays pre-built AI agents that have been deployed to your organization by your administrator. These agents are sourced from the Synthreo catalog and are purpose-built for specific organizational tasks and workflows.
Each agent card in this section shows the following information:
- A numbered position in the list, indicating the agent’s order.
- The agent’s icon - a visual identifier for the agent.
- Agent name and a short description - summarizing what the agent does.
- Creator attribution - shows who created the agent (for example, “By Synthreo Inc.” for catalog agents, or your organization’s name for custom-deployed agents).
- A sidebar toggle eye icon - this is an important control that lets you add or remove the agent from your left sidebar for quick access:
- Blue eye - the agent is currently pinned to your sidebar and appears in the AI Agents section of the left sidebar. You can click it from the sidebar at any time without going to the Marketplace.
- Strikethrough eye - the agent is not currently in your sidebar. Click the icon to pin it, and it will appear in the AI Agents section of your left sidebar.
Pinning agents to your sidebar is a convenient way to keep your most-used agents one click away, rather than navigating to the Marketplace each time you want to use them.
Custom GPTs Section
Section titled “Custom GPTs Section”The Custom GPTs section displays Custom GPTs that have been shared and made available in the marketplace by users in your organization (with administrator-configured access rules). These work identically to the Custom GPTs in your My GPTs list - they have custom instructions, optional knowledge bases, and optional conversation starters.
Custom GPT cards show the GPT’s name, icon, description, and creator attribution, similar to agent cards. However, Custom GPTs do not have the sidebar toggle eye icon - they are accessed from the Marketplace or from your My GPTs list in the sidebar.
Starting a Conversation from the Marketplace
Section titled “Starting a Conversation from the Marketplace”To start using any agent or GPT from the Marketplace:
- Browse or search for the agent or GPT you want to use.
- Click the card for that agent or GPT. A detail panel opens with more information.
The detail panel shows:
- The agent’s icon and name at the top
- Created by attribution showing who built the agent
- Region and Type metadata (for example, “Builder Agent” for agents connected to Synthreo Builder workflows)
- Description - a longer explanation of what the agent does and how to use it (if configured by your admin)
- A Start Chat button
- Click Start Chat to open a conversation with that agent or GPT.
The chat view loads with the agent ready for your first message:
The chat view shows:
- The agent’s icon and name displayed at the top of the chat area
- Any conversation starters configured for the agent, displayed as clickable suggested prompts to help you get started. Click any conversation starter to send it as your first message immediately.
- The standard chat input at the bottom of the screen where you can type your own message
- Type your message and press Enter to begin the conversation, or click one of the conversation starters if available.
From this point, the conversation works exactly like any other ThreoAI chat. You can send follow-up messages, attach files using the + button, enable web search, and use all standard chat features. The agent or GPT responds according to its custom instructions and knowledge base.
How Marketplace Access Works
Section titled “How Marketplace Access Works”The agents and GPTs visible to you in the Marketplace are controlled by your organization’s administrator through Tenant Management. You will only see items that your administrator has explicitly made available to you or to a group you belong to.
An administrator can:
- Add AI Agents from the Synthreo catalog to your organization’s marketplace, making them available to all users or specific groups
- Share Custom GPTs with specific users or groups by creating access rules in Tenant Management that link a shared GPT to the users or groups who should see it
- Remove or restrict access to agents or GPTs at any time by modifying or deleting the corresponding access rules
What If You Cannot Find an Agent or GPT
Section titled “What If You Cannot Find an Agent or GPT”If you need access to an agent or GPT that is not visible in your Marketplace, there are a few possible reasons:
- Your administrator has not yet added that agent to your organization’s marketplace
- The agent or GPT exists but the access rule does not include you or your user group
- The Custom GPT creator has not yet set the GPT to “Shared” status, or the administrator has not yet configured an access rule for it
In any of these cases, contact your organization’s ThreoAI administrator and provide the name of the agent or GPT you need access to. The administrator can add it to the marketplace or update the access rules to include you.
