Overview

ThreoAI is your organization’s secure AI chat platform, available at https://threo.synthreo.ai. It works like ChatGPT but is managed and controlled by your organization - ensuring all conversations, files, and AI capabilities meet your company’s security and compliance requirements.

Unlike consumer AI tools, ThreoAI gives your organization’s administrator full control over which AI models are available, who can access the platform, and how data is handled. This means you get the power of modern large language models in an environment that your IT and security teams have approved and configured specifically for your organization.

What You Can Do with ThreoAI

ThreoAI provides a range of AI-powered capabilities designed to help you work more efficiently. Here is a summary of what is available to you as a user:

Chat with AI - Have conversations with powerful AI models selected and managed by your organization. Ask questions, draft content, brainstorm ideas, get explanations, and more. The models available to you are configured by your administrator in Tenant Management.
Upload files - Attach documents, images, and spreadsheets directly to your conversations. The AI can read, summarize, extract data from, and answer questions about uploaded files. Supported formats include PDF, DOCX, TXT, PPTX, images (PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, WEBP), XLSX, and CSV.
Use Custom GPTs - Interact with AI assistants built for specific tasks such as HR policy lookup, IT support, document review, onboarding guidance, and more. Custom GPTs have their own persona, instructions, and optionally a knowledge base of uploaded training documents. You can create your own or use ones shared with you.
Use AI Agents - Access pre-built agents deployed by your organization’s administrator. AI Agents are purpose-built for specific organizational tasks and workflows, and they appear in the left sidebar and the Marketplace.
Organize with Projects - Group related conversations into dedicated workspaces. Each project maintains its own separate conversation history, making it easy to separate work by client, topic, or workstream without cluttering your general chat history.
Compare AI Models - Run the same prompt against two AI models side by side using the Model Comparison feature. This is useful for evaluating which model handles a specific type of task best before committing to one for your workflow.
Search the web - Enable live web search from the chat input bar to let ThreoAI retrieve current, up-to-date information from the internet alongside its built-in training knowledge.
Personalize your experience - Configure your Profile Settings with your preferred name, role description, and personal context so that ThreoAI tailors its responses to you. You can also import memories from other AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.

Getting Access

Access to ThreoAI is granted by your organization’s administrator. You do not create your own account - instead, your administrator provisions your access through the Tenant Management portal, and you receive an invitation email to complete your account setup.

Here is what to expect:

Your organization’s ThreoAI administrator adds you as a user in Tenant Management.
You receive an invitation email from noreply@synthreo.ai with the subject line [Synthreo] Access granted.
The email contains a Complete Account Setup button. Click it to set your password and configure multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Once your account is active, navigate to https://threo.synthreo.ai to log in.

The invitation link expires in 7 days. If you did not receive the email, check your spam or junk folder first. If you still cannot find it, contact your organization’s ThreoAI administrator to have the invitation resent.

Where to Start

If this is your first time using ThreoAI, follow these steps in order to get up and running:

Log in and set up your account - Accept your invitation, set your password, and complete the initial account activation process.
Set up MFA - Configure multi-factor authentication (email or authenticator app) to secure your account. This is required during initial setup.
Tour the interface - Get familiar with the layout of ThreoAI, including the left sidebar, top bar controls, model selector, and chat input bar.
Start your first chat - Send your first message, choose an AI model, and explore features like web search and file attachments.

After completing these steps, you may also want to:

Update your Profile Settings - Set your preferred name, describe your role, choose a default AI model, and configure memory so ThreoAI personalizes its responses for you.
Explore the Marketplace - Browse AI Agents and Custom GPTs that your organization has made available to you.
Create a Custom GPT - Build your own specialized AI assistant with custom instructions and a knowledge base.

Click the Help icon in the top-right corner of ThreoAI to open Synthreo’s support resources in a new tab.
Use the Submit Feedback option in the profile dropdown menu (click your avatar in the top-right corner) to send product feedback or report an issue directly from within ThreoAI.

Contact your organization’s ThreoAI administrator for account access issues, model availability requests, or questions about your organization’s specific configuration.
