Roles

In ThreoAI, a Role defines what a user can or can't do. It controls access to features, tools, and areas of the platform. Each user is assigned a role, and that role comes with a specific set of permissions.

Roles are hierarchical; some can do more than others, but they don't overlap. You can think of a role as a permission preset.

ThreoBuilder Roles

  1. Account Owner

Has full control over everything, including billing, settings, and even closing the account. This is the highest role.

  2. Sysadmin

Same as the Account Owner except they can't close the account. Has full access to all areas and settings.

  3. Admin

Can do everything a Sysadmin can, but cannot manage subscriptions or payments.

  4. Full Power User (FPU)

Has nearly the same access as Admin but cannot manage team members (membership).

  5. FS Restricted Power User (FS RPU)

Same as FPU, but doesn't have access to file system management.

  6. DCS Only Power User (DCS OPU)

Limited to just the DCS (Data Control System) area. Has full permissions within that scope but nothing outside it.

ThreoAI Roles

  • We only have 1 role (admin) for this app since this app is a one-account-per-user.

Tenant Management Roles

  • Currently, there are two roles available, Owner and Admin, with no difference in permissions for now. They mainly serve as placeholders for future updates. However, to be safe, we recommend using the Admin role, since it's possible that permissions may be adjusted later and the Owner role could end up having broader access or higher authority.
