Delegate to a Customer's Tenant Management
How to use Delegate Login in Synthreo Tenant Management to open a scoped admin session for a customer tenant — no customer credentials needed.
Application: Synthreo Tenant Management (admin.synthreo.ai)
Role: MSP Administrator
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Many tasks — such as managing customer users, creating customer-specific AI models, or configuring customer Access Rules — require you to work inside a specific customer’s tenant rather than your own MSP session. The Delegate Login feature opens a separate Tenant Management session for that customer without needing their credentials.
You will need to use Delegate Login to complete certain tasks for customer accounts. You do not need to use Delegate Login to complete tasks for your MSP account.
Follow the steps below to login to a Tenant Management shell in a customer tenant.
-
Log in to admin.synthreo.ai.
-
In the left navigation menu, click Customers.
-
Click the name of the customer you want to manage.
-
On the customer detail page, click the Accounts tab.
-
Ensure the Tenant Management sub-tab is selected.
You will see a list of Tenant Management accounts for this customer, showing their Account ID, Role, User Name, and User Email.
-
Click the Delegate Login button in the top-right area of the Accounts section.
A “Confirm Delegation” dialog will appear asking: “Do you want to proceed with delegation? New window will be opened.”
-
Click Yes.
A new browser tab opens showing Tenant Management with the header “Tenant Management (Logged in as [Customer Name])” and the customer’s logo. You are now managing that customer’s environment.
- The delegated session is separate from your MSP session — both tabs remain open and independent.
- To return to your MSP session, simply switch back to the original Tenant Management tab.
- You can have multiple delegated sessions open in separate tabs simultaneously.
- Customer administrators can also log into Tenant Management directly using their own credentials at admin.synthreo.ai.
